- Art
- Math
- Science
Our students can play and work together, or alone, and enjoy a variety of activities including, but not limited to:

- Creative movement/dance
- Outdoor play in our enclosed playscape area, including bikes and other ride-on toys
- Seasonal crafts and baking
- Playing with water, sand, dough and paint
- Building with Legos and other blocks

Since each child is unique, opportunity for individual development and ability is emphasized; this allows each student to reach his or her potential and achieve a measure of success.
Weekly Music Class
At Quaker Lane, we believe music is an important part of early childhood development. It is the foundation for building strong language, math, and movement skills. Our music teacher, Kristin Vece, teaches classes weekly for both our 2-day and 3-day students. Each class incorporates, rhythm, movement, rhyming, and fun! The children learn both familiar and new songs, often tied to our current area of focus. It is a joy to hear our students singing throughout the day at school!
Engaging the Community
We regularly welcome professionals from the community to share their knowledge and expertise with our students. These visits provide a fun and exciting educational experience. Past visitors include:
- Firefighters
- Postal Workers
- Librarians
- Dental Hygienists
- Musicians
- Yoga Instructors
- Staff from Westmoor Park
The curriculum is flexible and we welcome suggestions from current parents. If you have a topic idea or an area of expertise you would like to share with our students, please let us know!
